Administrative Meeting for Senators not on the list of another Group : ウィキペディア英語版 | Administrative Meeting for Senators not on the list of another Group The Administrative Meeting for Senators not on the list of another Group ((フランス語:Réunion administrative des sénateurs ne figurant sur la liste d'aucun groupe), RASNAG) is a current parliamentary group in the Senate of France. The Senate has recognised parliamentary groups since 1910, and these are increasingly used by the internal offices of the Senate, such as for electing members of Commissions by proportional representation, tabling questions, and nominating speakers in debates. In addition, the Presidents of the Groups decide the seating arrangements within the Senate's hemicycle. The rules are so constituted in order to provide to members of minority groups the same rights as those held by the majority. Under the constitutional revision of 23 July 2008, groups must contain a minimum of 15 members, just under 5% of the composition of the Senate. The Meeting is therefore composed of Senators who represent small parties, or are independents, and do not qualify to form a Group of their own. The members of the meeting elect a Delegate in the same way the groups have their Presidents, and the meeting serves to represent their interests when dealing with Senate business.〔 Traditionally, they formed a formal group, but due to reduced numbers of Non-Inscrits, they do not currently qualify for that status.〔 As of 14 September 2009, the Meeting consists of 8 Senators: Philippe Adnot, Philippe Darniche, Sylvie Desmarescaux, Gaston Flosse, Jean Louis Masson, Bruno Retailleau, and Alex Türk. Senator Adnot (Independent, Aube) serves as the Delegate. ==References==
